Baseball Bat Rules

Before you go out and spend a small fortune on a new or used bat, make sure you get the correct one for your baseball player.  The bat rules are for player safety.  Bats must display the logo below or else they cannot be used.  Solid one piece wood bats are allowed at all levels (no bamboo bats unless they have logo).

 USA Baseball - Little League (12u and under) - can be used at all levels but primarily just 'little diamond' leagues (official rules).

BBCOR - Babe Ruth (13u and older) - 'big diamond' bat, cannot be used in little league.  Generally heavier than USA Baseball bats.

USSSA Bats (aka "U-Trips") MYBS does NOT allow these at any level.**  

** USSSA bats are ONLY allowed in 13u club baseball leagues, must club baseball teams will supply this bat because it is only used for one year.  These are 'loaded' bats, which will travel faster/further than other bats.
